If you are alraedy in the security industry and wish to progress your security career or build on your existing security knowledge, then our Certificate III in Security Operations is geared towards a supervisory role within the security industry. This qualification can also be used as a stepping stone to advance into different security industry employment streams such as:
• armed guard
• cash in transit
• employed by company’s requiring persons to carry batons and handcuffs
All students are to be 18 years and over and are required to complete Language, literacy & Numeracy (LLN) test upon enrolment, they must also be physically able to perform First Aid. You will also be required to complete an “Application for Enrolment” form.
Note: Police check would be required to apply for a security licence, which is a pre requisite for any security job/position.
There is no work placement required in this course.

Face to face classroom based training
Applicants can apply for a credit transfer for any units successfully completed, as part of AQF qualification, at any other Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or TAFE. Credit transfers will be granted upon the receipt of sufficient evidence to support the application prior to the commencement of training.

This Booklet contains important information about a student’s rights and obligations such as their right to privacy, a safe training environment, the right to complain & appeal, to the meet the course progress requirement and maintain appropriate student behaviour. It is important that persons applying for enrolment must have had reviewed this information first.
Students are expected to keep a notebook and pen to take notes, may also bring a laptop.

The standards for Registered Training Organisations require an RTO to inform the prospective students of their right to statutory cooling off period. A statutory cooling off period of 10 days is applicable under Consumer Law to withdraw from a consumer agreement, if the agreement has been through unsolicited marketing and sales tactics. However, it may be noted that we do not engage in any aggressive marketing tactics like door to door marketing, hence Statutory cooling off period will not as such be applicable to our students who have enrolled into a program.
